PRODUCTION
The business of Van Baal Textiles is coordinated between The Netherlands and Tunesia. In 2012 the company decided to manage the total production chain, this establish more possibilities to reduce our lead times and be more flexible. All this creates a perfect opportunity to respond to trends, purchase stock or adjust shipments straight away.
3BE – Sayada, Tunesië
In 2012 we established our own production facility in Sayada, Tunisia. This was done to optimize the control of the production chain and not be dependent on external partners. Here, the raw cloth we keep in stock can be printed, embroidered and quilted as and when required. The semi-finished products are shipped to the Netherlands on a weekly basis, ensuring fast delivery of samples and orders. This process means our production chain is considerably reduced compared to deliveries from the Far East.
In 2019, we were awarded the SA8000 certification, enabling us to meet the very highest standards as a supplier. We are honoured with this certification and what’s more: it also solidifies the quality of our products and the fact we safeguard the right social conditions
Van Baal Textiles – Breda, the Netherlands
There are separate showrooms for all our brands at the head office in Breda, and our sales and styling department work hard on the constant development of new products, packaging and concepts for both collections and private-label items. Here, we receive weekly deliveries from Tunisia and the Far East and we add the requested inner filling and required labelling to beanbags, lounge products and decorative cushions. We also look after logistics at this location, by using efficient presspacking and automated pallet sealing for (inter)national distribution.
