We focus on beautiful products and interior concepts, but meeting European requirements for product safety and quality is just as important to us. The SA8000 certification in particular clearly shows that we consistently focus on ethical values.
SA8000 sets standards for social responsibility, management and monitoring. The validation of the compliance with SA8000 standards means an SA8000 certificate is awarded. Social Accountability International (SAI) developed the benchmark in 1997, in close collaboration with the business community, unions and human rights organisations.
The Business Social Compliance Initiative (BSCI) was established to drive ethical compliance for people along the entire supply chain. It also encourages a safe work environment for every employee.
REACH is a European standard for safe and environmentally friendly handling of chemical substances as defined by the European Chemicals Agency.
